EXPLORE Tattershall Castle & the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight | Coningsby | Outdoors Adventure | Lincolnshire Churches In this video, I visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and join a guided tour of the hangar containing Spitfires, Hurricanes, Chipmunks and the Lancaster. I then make my way to Tattershall Castle to absorb some history and autumnal colour. After experiencing 360 degree views of Lincolnshire from the top of Tattershall Castle, I look closely at the many examples of historic graffiti etched on its ancient walls. Then my journey takes me to Woodhall Spa, but on the way I stop off at Kirkstead Abbey, a ruin dating back to 1139. Then at Woodhall Spa, with Remembrance Day approaching, I pay my respects to the war memorials and visit the local 'Victorian Cake Shop' which had recently provided lunch for King Charles III during his recent trip to the BBMF.
