Pakistani Grooming Gang Ringleader Uses Loophole To Avoid Deportation!
A convicted Rochdale grooming gang ringleader who was found guilty of 30 child rape offences cannot be deported from Britain, even after being stripped of his British citizenship. Shabir Ahmed, 73, is due to be released from prison but is protected by an old legal loophole that stops certain Commonwealth citizens who arrived before 1973 from being removed. That means authorities will instead have to monitor him under strict licence conditions, including tagging, curfews and exclusion zones. The case is likely to reignite fury over deportation laws, grooming gang justice and why serious offenders can still remain in the UK.
