Strategies for Navigating the Intersection of Mental Illness and Substance Misuse and Abuse

Angela Hill, PharmD, CPh, FAACP is the Professor and past Associate Dean of Clinical Practice and Chair at the  USF Taneja College of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida. Although Dr. Hill is a career academician, she has worked and consulted for community pharmacy practice, outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, long-term care facilities, and carved out specialty areas of practice to include, but not be limited to geriatrics, psychiatry, neurology, alternative medicine, substance abuse, and health disparities. She is currently providing medication optimization services at the USF Neuroscience Institute Parkinson’s/Movement Disorder Clinic & Dr. Tracey’s House which is a one-stop shop for comprehensive medical and behavioral health services for families. She started her career in mental health at Florida State Hospital where she coordinated Clozaril/Neuroleptic Review Clinics.
