Mad Stress Crossing into China by Land

Getting from Laos into a random city in China, Kunming, was way more stressful than I expected. Three border crossings. Admin anxiety. A $150 mistake because I don't know Chinese cities and do everything last minute, and another one of my usual taxi mess ups. This is the hardest leg of the overland journey so far.
