Punching Hydrilla Matts at Florida's new Headwaters Lake
Florida's new Headwaters Lake is producing some nice bass. Florida opened the 10,000 acre lake in August. It's part of the famed "Stick Marsh" and has produced a bunch of bass over 8 pounds. This time of year the water temperature is around 60-70 which is great for punching and flipping the heavy Hydrilla Matts for some quality largemouth. Today I'm using Yamamoto flapping hogs and creature lures in dark colors like black and blue.
