How to Crochet Brick Pattern

This pattern is really great for an afghan or a baby blanket. it goes like this: start(with edge color): a number of ch which is devisable by 10 Row 1: 1 sc in each st Row 2 - 3(second color): (1 sc, 1 hdc, 5 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ch 1) skip next st and repeat stitches in paragraphs. Row 4(with edge color): 1 sc in next 9 sts, 1 dc over the two ch-spaces and into the skipped stitch underneath (see video) Row 5: 1 sc in each st. Row 6: ch 2, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ch 1, skip next st, (1 sc, 1 hdc, 5 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ch 1) skip st and repeat until end. at the end, make another half stone: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc Row 7: 1 sc in next 5 sts, dc into the skipped st, (1 sc in next 9 sts, 1 dc into the skipped st) repeat until end.
