Gov't Mule: Kind of Bird

In 1999, I believe it was, just months before the death of their bassist Allen Woody, the band Gov't Mule was touring and came through Omaha, Nebraska. On a weekend day I shot this performance of The Allman Brothers' "Kind of Bird". Warren was worried he was close to losing his voice and wanted to do an instrumental and on the spur of the moment Woody mentioned the Brothers' song. They had never performed it before. Woody passed away and I didn't feel I should use the video at the time for a story I was producing. Until then the video has remained in my video collection. Hope you enjoy it.
