Beshear Demands Transparency on Sen. McConnell’s Health

Kentucky Democratic Governor Andy Beshear addressed concerns over Senator Mitch McConnell's prolonged absence from the Senate due to health issues. Governor Beshear revealed he sent letters to both McConnell and Senate Majority Leader John Thune requesting clear updates on McConnell's health and his ability to fulfill his senatorial duties. The conversation then turned to the upcoming midterms, with Beshear saying affordability will be the “driving issue.” He believes Democrats are speaking to voter’s “pain,” with people being unable to afford groceries, pharmaceuticals, and housing, forcing families to live paycheck to paycheck.
