Sensei Kimo Wall demonstrates Kobudo at Sensei Anthony Mirakian's Dojo in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Sensei Wall was a friend and a martial arts colleague of Sensei Mirakian. Both men studied Goju Ryu while stationed in Okinawa; Kimo Wall, the Marines, Anthony Mirakian, the Air Force. Both were taught by students of the founder of Goju Ryu, Chojun Miyagi, Sensei Wall by Seiko Higa, Sensei Mirakian by Meitoku Yagi. Sensei Wall also learned Kobudo from Sensei Matayoshi Shinpo. Both of them were pioneer martial artists in the United States and neither one of them sought to enrich themselves by selling their knowledge. They both believed that the practice of Karate would enrich people by making them better.
