Originally broadcasted on May 22, 2026 Dopplereffekt is one of the strangest and most mysterious units of the contemporary electronic music scene. There is only one known interview and very few live appearances. The composers utilize strange German pseudonyms while the track titles and lyrics are in English and make up a strange mixture of scientific, sexually explicit and political allusions. Dopplereffekt's music is also highly eclectic and unusual. Gerald Donald of Drexciya fame, since the late 1980s and later in collaboration with his wife, To Nhan Le Thi, has conducted many sonological experiments as Dopplereffekt, toiling away in a secret laboratory. These experiments would serve to influence a wide range of genres and styles for decades to come.
