Lynton and Lynmouth - Explore Devon's 'Little Switzerland'!
The twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth are very contrasting. Whilst Lynton is perched on a plateau some 500 feet above the sea level, Lynmouth is a typical harbour town at the coast. The two are connected by the highest and steepest totally water powered railway in the world. Enjoy wandering round both places but it's not called Devon's 'Little Switzerland' for nothing! The walk back up to Lynton is quite steep but why not give it go. There are some amazing views.
