In this video, I found the beta driver on Chinese forums without any collaboration and ran the tests. Smooth Motion promises up to a 2x FPS increase and competes against AMD's AFMF software. Since it doesn't run in hardware, we can activate it through software, and it only works on RTX 40-series graphics cards. We used to use technologies like DLSS, Frame Generation, or FSR for framerate boosts in hardware. However, now, whether you're using Smooth Motion on an RTX 4060 or RTX 4070, you can achieve FPS increases using Smooth Motion technology. Since it's currently in beta, we run it with NVIDIA Profile Inspector. Then, simply turn on the Smooth Motion option in the NVIDIA app for any game you're playing. Based on my testing, the best boosts I've seen so far are in Assassin's Creed Shadows, Forza Horizon 5, and CyberPunk 2077. However, I haven't seen any activity in games like God of War Ragnarök, CS2, or Spider-Man Remastered.
