For several concerts entitled "Cuban Night," Cuban pianist and composer Hilario Duran brings Latin jazz to the WDR Funkhaus. In the rehearsal, the WDR Big Band plays "Opening 2," composed and arranged by Hilario Duran (solos: Karoline Strassmayer, saxophone, and Ludwig Nuss, trombone), followed directly by the track "Mambo Influenciado" (K: Chucho Valdés; A: Hilario Durán). Recorded at the rehearsal in WDR Studio 4 at the WDR Funkhaus. Solos are played by Johan Hörlen on saxophone and Hilario Durán on piano.
