Epic Lawn Kill 6 Months Later

In this episode we return to the yard in South Texas whose lawn we slaughtered only months ago. This was a very low-cost operation and the only money needed was to rent the sodcutter and purchase plants, which we only bought small sizes of. The cost in time was significantly more, but it's a source of pleasure getting one's ass out into the soil, planting stuff, pulling Bermuda grass, occasionally spraying the big clumps, pruning stuff, checking out how things are growing in, etc. 95% of the plants here are NATIVE to South Texas and we're what grew here for hundreds of thousands of years before the land was bulldozed. Bring back the native plants and you'll bring back all the cool butterflies, native solitary bees, cool birds, orbweavers and other organisms with which we mutually benefit from co-existing with. The "fear of nature" that some of us have acquired as a result of our disconnection with it is not only absurd, but harmful as hell.
