Fast Tusoteuthis Taming Guide :: Ark : Survival Evolved Tips and Tricks

In this video I explain how to tame a Tusoteuthis. This creature is weird and it was difficult to wrap my head around how to tame it effectively. There is no traps, no weird gimmicks, nothing like that. It's fairly straightforward once you know how it's done. So basically, you need to gather up a bunch of black pearls, the most you should need is around 400. You'll then want to get a tanky swimming mount, such as a dunkleosteous, put it on passive and have it follow you with a stack of 50 black pearls in the last slot of your hotbar. Then you just feed the dunkleosteous to the Tusoteuthis. Once your mount is in the grip of the tuso, feed it the black pearls by interacting with it then swim up to the surface. The Tuso will eventually release your dunkle, and it will come back to you. You'll need to wait around 10-15 minutes after the initial feeding, then repeat the process every 5-10 minutes after that. Then BAM tusoteuthis is yours. I explain this better in the video, so maybe watch that instead of my written report on the matter.
