Madav’s Birthday in Switzerland🇨🇭 | Away From Home Celebration 🎂 | Tamil Vlog We celebrated Madav’s birthday here in Switzerland with a small surprise at home ❤️ From baking his birthday cake to cutting it together and ending the day with a peaceful Shiva temple visit in Zurich, this day was simple but very special for us. Living away from family makes these moments more meaningful, so we tried to make his day memorable with love and effort. Chocolate Cake Recipe Ingredients: Maida (All-purpose flour) – 80g Cocoa powder – 15g Baking powder – ¾ tsp Baking soda – ~⅜ tsp (use a slightly less than ½ tsp) Salt – ¼ tsp Unsalted butter – 20g (softened) Oil – 20g Sugar – 105g Eggs – 2 Milk – 50 ml Vanilla essence – 1 tsp 👩‍🍳 Method 1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 6-inch cake tin with butter and dust lightly with flour.(Top and Bottom method) 2.Sift together maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk well and keep aside. 3.In a bowl, beat egg whites + sugar until stiff peaks form. 4.In another bowl, beat the egg yolks until light in color. Add butter, oil, and milk one by one and mix well. 5.Add the dry ingredients in 2–3 batches into the wet mixture and mix until combined. 6.Gently fold in the whipped egg whites using a spatula. 7.Add vanilla essence and mix gently. Do not overmix. 8.Pour batter into the prepared tin and bake for 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
