ACB to Construct 3 Cricket Academies in Northern Afghanistan The Turf & Facility Department of the Afghanistan Cricket Board has officially commenced the construction of three standard cricket academies in the Balkh, Takhar, and Badakhshan provinces. An ACB delegation recently visited these provinces to inaugurate the projects and lay the foundation stones in the presence of government representatives, tribal elders, players, and cricket officials. The delegation highlighted that these initiatives will play a crucial role in the development and growth of cricket in northern Afghanistan and will create enhanced opportunities for players in the region. Residents and players expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude to the ACB for these projects and are hopeful that the academies will foster professional growth and open doors for players to represent Afghanistan in the future. The projects are expected to be completed within the next three months, with each costing between 1 to 1.5 million Afghanis.
