How To Crochet Little Balls for Blossoms in Mandarin Lei

This video shows how to make little balls for blossoms in Mandarin Lei. How to make Mandarin Lei will come soon. The idea of the lei came from Ben Franklin Craft Store in Hawaii. The website is www.craftingisfun.com. The online store has ribbon lei projects, and one of the project is ‘Mandarin Lei". I didn't make exactly like the instruction and I used the ribbons that I have. The materials in the instruction is 1/8" satin ribbon combined with 1/4" organza sheer ribbon. But I don't have the ribbons, so I used 3/8" satin ribbon with gold edge. I feel a little bit challenging to make the blossoms. I think the best idea is to use 3mm yellow rattail cord. The technique to make the ball is the same. Overall I feel happy because the gold edge make them pretty.
