Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion | Athens Day Trip

On a windy day in August, we took a day trip from Athens to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. This ancient Greek temple, overlooking the Aegean Sea, was dedicated to Poseidon, the god of the sea. #templeofposeidon #capesounion #greece #travel Admission is 20 euros per person, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk uphill from the entrance to the archaeological site.
