Tori and I are planning a trip soon where we go away together for a little get away and just dream! We think about work, about family, about goals, passions etc! I was talking to a friend about the trip and he said as you all are talking about intense things make sure that 50% of what you are planning is something that brings you joy! It will help carry the conversations and you both will be excited to do this in the future… now that got me thinking. Instead of me practicing the joy “component” at this meeting, why don’t I do that in every day life. Where I choose to meditate, think on, celebrate, talk about things that bring joy instead just talking about all the craziness the world has been experiencing and whatever hardship I have that day. So here I am! Trying to make sure that at least 50% of the things I spend time thinking about and talking about are joyful things. I think this will truly impact my mood and how I can hopefully encourage others!
