DIY Electric Lawnmower Conversion – Push Reel to Battery Powered Using Scooter Parts!

I took a used manual reel lawnmower and converted it into a battery-powered electric mower using scooter parts from Amazon — and best of all, it runs on my existing power tool batteries! This project was a fun and practical way to upcycle a push reel mower into something way easier to use — no gas, no cords, and no more sweat! In this video, I cover:    •   How I mounted the motor and drive system    •   Wiring up the speed controller and throttle    •   How I used battery adapters to power it with my cordless tool batteries    •   Test runs and performance results ⸻ 🔧 Parts Used:    •   36V Motor – $37 - https://a.co/d/fR9Hbj0    •   36V Motor Controller – $16 - https://a.co/d/4IJTooK    •   Thumb Speed Controller – $14 - https://a.co/d/f3cyV6G    •   Battery Adapters (to use my cordless tool batteries) – $16 - https://a.co/d/apmpoqx    •   Sprocket – $10 - https://a.co/d/250unUM    •   H25 Chain – $12 - https://a.co/d/4CDVLxa 🛠️ Total cost: Around $105, not including the mower or batteries (I reused my own 18V/20V power tool batteries). ⸻ This setup is quiet, efficient, and surprisingly powerful. If you’re into DIY, battery mods, or just want a better way to mow the lawn, this is a fun build to try. 💬 Got questions or planning your own conversion?
