Visiting BLAUBEUREN. Guided tour to the "Blue Pot, the Benedictine Abbey and the streets. "Amazing"

Welcome back to a new video at Württemberg. In this video I will show you one of the most famous places and town of the entire federal state and at South Germany named the town Blaubeuren. The town is a idyll between the rocks and mountains of the Swabian Alb and is famous for a spring where blue and clear water is coming out of a mountain. Find out in this video what is like next to the Blue Pott what is like with a trip at Blaubeuren. The afternoon at Blaubeuren: Join me on a long afternoon at the town called Blaubeuren at the Swabian Alb at Württemberg in Germany. At fist I visited the place where I was looking a long time to see the landmark of the town called Blue Pott, Blue spring or in german languarge the “Blautopf”. The way was a kind of train to the pot but as I spent time around the blue water I couldn’t believe what I saw. The water was which is coming out of a mountain with carst stone was blue like the water of a cave of cliffs at the sea. I had the opportunity to walk around the whole spring and there I enjoyed many great views to the clear water. At next I have visited the Benedictine monastery at the town. There I spent time at the cloister and was walking into the chapel with a golden and big altar. The monastery was a true complex in a gothic design and shows the spirit of the gothic building epoch in everything. Also the streets and buildings of Blaubeuren were amazing. The streets had a quite feeling and according to the summertime many ice cream shops were open and the people which I´ve seen funnelled for eating ice cream. Many houses of the town were designed in fachwerk and looks typical for a town at a low mountain range. I stopped at a golden fountain and the city church which was in protestant own since the reformation. The end of the tour was at the main street where the walking street was changing with the main street. More info about Blaubeuren: Blaubeuren is a town loceated at the low mountain range Swabian Alb and only 16 kilometer far away of the bigger town Ulm. The town is famous for its spring with blue water called Blue Pot which is the begin of the river “Blue”. Blaubeuren is known for some caves in the rock where one of the oldest discoveries from the ice age was found. In the past until 1998 the town was known for the cement industry founded by Julius Spohn and is still known for some quarries in the mountains. Blaubeuren has a station where trains from Ulm will make a stop to bring people to their work and back. In the town there are three churches included with the Benedictine monastery which was founded in 1085 by benedictine monks from the region. The monastery is known as the heath of the town and includes a cloister, a huge church hall where the big hall is changed in a event hall. The true church includes a hall with a high altar designed by the school of Ulm. Blaubeuren is one of the top places at the federal state.
