Both Champaign and Urbana have adopted an emergency order for restaurants and bars to open back up with requirements to offer much more outdoor seating. Due to this, you may notice a few streets closed in Downtown Champaign to make way for tables, benches, and chairs to be placed for local businesses. In Downtown Urbana, they have utilized some huge outdoor parking lots and back alleys to help with outdoor seating for Urbana restaurants and bars.
