The ONE thing that fixed my arcades slow season

Everybody asks me the same question: how does an arcade bar make money in the summer? Honest answer? For a long time, it didn't. I own an arcade bar in Sarnia, Ontario which is a beach town with 70km of beachfront and more parks than you can count. Great if you're on vacation. Not so great when you run an indoor entertainment centre and the sun comes out and nobody wants to be inside. For years I just sat in an empty arcade waiting for a rainy day. I tried to out-hustle it. Extended hours, summer discounts, group deals, all of it. Boy, was I wrong. So I stopped fighting the slow season and asked myself what I had that nobody else in my city did. That one thing turned my deadest months into a program that's now sold out every summer, five years running. In this video I break down exactly how I did it, why I refuse to run a cheap "pack the kids in a church basement" summer camp, and what I think any small business owner can take from it. If you own a small business, or you're thinking about starting one, this is the kind of stuff I wish somebody had told me nine years ago. I'm just getting this channel going and I want to share the real behind-the-scenes of running this place not the fluff. If you made it this far, do me a favour and subscribe. It genuinely helps more than you'd think.
