Today let's break down the main rhythm parts to this classic 12-bar blues shuffle from T-Bone Walker in the key of Ab. When you're done working through this lesson you are going to be able to play right along with the original recording with some classic blues guitar figures added to your guitar playing. There are only three chords used in this song. As with so many of these early blues tunes, they just use the I, IV, and V chords. The first guitar part, a bass line on the lower strings, is going to outline an Ab6 chord. The major 6th chord is a must-know sound common to many early blues records. ✅Jon’s YouTube Vault #tbonewalker #jonmaclennan #tboneshuffle
