The Last Escape (1) - WW2

A joint British/American team are sent to Germany to get a rocket scientist and his team over to the Allies, with the Russians having the same idea. It's a race against time, with the Germans hot on their trail. This is a movie made in 1969/70 that hasn't been on UK TV for many years sadly, so it's very rare, and this is part 1 of 2. Viewers of the British TV soap 'Coronation Street' may recognize Johnny Briggs, who went on to play Mike Baldwin in the long running show.
