(2) City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge, Part Two, Remembrance Service at the City's War Memorial

#CityOfLondonderryGrandOrangeLodge #KillalooFluteBand #ChurchillFluteBand In this second instalment of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge, Annual Battle of the Boyne Church Service Parade, the procession has now crossed the Craigavon Bridge and entered the historic Walled City. After making their way around the Diamond, the Lodges and accompanying bands paused for a Remembrance Service. A lone piper performed two reflective tunes, followed by the Churchill Flute Band, who played a hymn to close the service. Once the ceremony concluded, the Lodges, now led by the Killaloo Accordion Band and Churchill Flute Band, paraded out of the city centre, returning toward the Waterside and onward to Ebrington Presbyterian Church for the main service. This video captures the full atmosphere of this part of the procession: the movement through the Diamond, the solemnity of the Remembrance Service, and the vibrant departure of the Lodges as they continue their journey.
