And I know I’ve done rides in the snow before last year, but this is the first one that I have done after a blizzard. There have been mounds of snow literally everywhere I walked prior to this run, including at the staircase of New Lots. People were stuck in the snow in cars too. I’ll be honest, a snow ride is actually pretty fun because it brings a new element of weather into play. And don’t think that this is the only snowstorm we get this season because based on the forecast patterns that we’ve been getting lately, we may get another snowstorm over the next month. February is known for being the snowiest month in New York City, as that was the case last year and the year prior. The difference was I couldn’t do my runs in New York City at the time because last year there was the (A) Train Shutdown in the Rockaways preventing me from doing it, and the year prior I was still at my college. So this will be my first real opportunity. And not only that, later on in the week, I would do another run to Vermont weekend. Just like how I did this rush-hour pattern with the (4) Train here, for that trip I will do the rush-hour pattern on the (5) Train via the (2) Line towards Nereid Av, so stay tuned for that when that happens.
