PANEL: “How to Build a Strong Brand in the Digital World (Instagram)” with @BiaBottesi (CMO of Meta in Latin America) and @ThaisCarballal (Founder of @AmoMooui), moderated by Fê Paronetto (CEO of @JustRealMoms & Founder of @JRMBizz). Bia is Head of Marketing at META in Latin America, which includes strategic responsibilities on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Her leadership in the technology sector, where women represent only 20% of professionals, stands out not only for her achievements but also for her commitment to diversity and inclusion. Thais created MOOUI in 2015. Today, she has created over 1,200 exclusive designs. Thais says her greatest inspiration is the impact that MOOUI's pieces have on children's lives and "how these products can convey positive messages and, through them, create a future that values the individuality of each person." Thais highlighted the importance of the brand's presence on Instagram from the beginning. She talked about how her brand's success was built. She also reinforced that Mooui expanded from a children's decoration brand to a lifestyle brand, broadening its portfolio and how it worked on Instagram, reaching specific audiences, with one of its accounts surpassing 700,000 followers. Bia also emphasized the relevance of deeply understanding the target audience and building a detailed brand persona. She spoke about the famous "one-size-fits-all" formula for success and shared her vision of what is fundamental in this social media work, as well as a strategic approach to using social media for entrepreneurship and community building. The conversation covered investment in targeted advertising, using Meta's advertising tools and other platforms. Thais, Bia, and Fê Paronetto were aligned regarding key strategies for growth in the digital world. Thais and Fê Paronetto also compared the profiles of smaller influencers with macro-influencers when a brand is choosing which one to work with – pros and cons. Finally, Bia highlighted that Meta offers several tools that help brands identify and work with content creators, including the use of artificial intelligence, and that segment and help choose influencers who fit the brand's profile.
