This video looks a the history of Portugal. From its first inhabitants to the premiership of Antonio Costa. It looks at how and why Portugal became one of the earliest European superpowers, why it had a long decline and why it fell into instability and then a dictatorship in the 20th century. It then looks at its transition to democracy in the 1970s and its consequences.
