Judo got it Wrong! - Classification of Throws - Gunji Koizumi

Gunji Koizumi was one of the most pivotal figures in British Judo and Jujitsu history. He published a book titled “My study of Judo - The technical and foundational principles” and as well as providing technical analysis of a large repertoire of throws he also described in detail the mechanical basis for many throws and offered his own way of classifying throwing techniques. This video explores what koizumi thought was a suitable alternative for the 5 classifications used in Kodokan Judo. ————— ☯️ BIO: Daniel Pyatt Aikijujutsu, Karate and Ryukyu Kobujutsu Practitioner and Teacher.
