Spectacular TOMAREE COASTAL WALK, from Shoal Bay to One Mile Beach in Port Stephens, NSW #hiking

The spectacular 27km Tomaree Coastal Walk connects the town’s stunning beaches from Shoal Bay to Anna Bay. After four years of development, the upgraded walk was officially opened to the public in September 2023. We divided the 27km walks into 3 days while staying at Ingenia Holidays Middle Rock. In this Part 2 of the Tomaree Coastal Walk undertaken in middle of June, we will be starting from Shoal Bay and ending at our Glamping Site close to One Mile Beach. In this 16km walk, we covered pristine beaches, rugged Aussie bush land and enchanting forests. We even spotted some whales out in the ocean at Barry Park Lookout. Although it’s quite a long distance walk, the overall terrain is generally flat, well formed and good sign posted. We completed the 16km walk in 6 hours.
