STC Electrodynamic Speaker Field Coil Rewind - 1930s

Steve asked me to help get his project radio working. It's an STC Console from 1938. I got the radio to work but the field coil in the speaker has shorted. I haven't rewound one before, "it can't be too hard" I told Steve.... "leave it with me". Can I do it?
