" কোথায় রয়েছে ভাবি লুকিয়ে বিষাদ তবুও " The original Moheener Ghoraguli (1977) Gautam, Pradip, Bishu, Tapas, Ranjan, Abraham, Tapesh, Pranab, Raja This song was recorded for the first time in 1977 by the first Bangla band of Kolkata, Moheener Ghoraguli in their album সংবিগ্ন পাখিকুল ও কলকাতা বিষয়ক. Since then the song has remained in the hearts of bengalis and re recorded/performed several times. Along with our dearest brother Gaurab Gaboo Chatterjee, we friends together decided to record the song at the iconic Hindusthan Records Studio in Kolkata and shoot it live. We are deeply thankful to our dearest friend Nitin Joshi for wonderfully mixing and mastering this one for us. This is a live one take old school recording and shooting session at the Hindusthan Inreco Studio built in 1932 in Kolkata. The studio floor has recorded legends and prodigies like Rabindranath Tagore, Nazrul islam, Sachin Dev Burman, Debabrata Biswas and many more stalwarts of music from the 1930's to the 1980's. We dedicate this song to Late Pete Seeger and Jose Marti, both of whom served the common underprivileged people of the earth with their music art and resilience. We thank our fantastic viewers and listeners without whom our purpose of practising art is incomplete.
