Is this cheap racing wheel from B&M any good? | REVIEW: XRocker gaming steering wheel with pedals

UPDATE 22/06/2021: It's come to my attention that XR Racing have redesigned the wheel, since I bought mine in B&M. This is not the same XR Racing wheel now on sale at Argos etc., or XR's own website. Mine didn't come with paddles on the steering column, and the buttons are slightly different on the new one, too. PROBLEMS CONNECTING THIS TO XBOX ONE? There's a firmware update! I thought it seemed like a reasonable price, but it was quite a lot to spend on a whim. Then, when I compared it to the prices of other (new) gaming wheels on the market, I realised that actually, to be fair to the name above the door of the shop, this gaming wheel might have been a bargain after all. But was it any good? I just had to find out! For international viewers: B&M Bargains is a well-known chain of discount superstores in the UK. The larger ones seem to be starting to give hardware stores a run for their money, at least for things like home decorating essentials and tools. They have a bit of everything: food and drink, home and gardenware, toys, gadgets, stuff for your car (i.e. non-virtual cars)...the list goes on.
