I Showed My Finnish Friend the REAL Size of America... 🤯

Have you ever realized just how unbelievably big the United States actually is? In this reaction, I brought my Finnish childhood best friend onto the channel, and together we watched one of the most mind-blowing geography videos I've ever seen. Even though this is my third time watching it, it still completely breaks my brain every single time. Watching American states get compared to entire countries completely changed the way we think about the world. Neither of us has ever been to the United States, so we went into this video with a very European perspective. We compare American states with countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and many others, and the results genuinely left us speechless. We couldn't believe that individual states could be larger than countries we think of as huge. Throughout the video we also talk about road trips, driving distances, travel across Europe versus America, and why the scale of the United States is so difficult for Europeans to understand. One of the funniest parts of this reaction is seeing how differently our brains process size. We constantly pause the video because every new comparison somehow feels even crazier than the last. From California being nearly the size of Spain to Texas being larger than entire European countries and Alaska completely breaking our understanding of geography, this video turned into a full-blown existential crisis for two Finnish girls trying to understand America.
