How I Fixed a Rusted Through Body Panel On my Ford Econoline Van as a Beginner

I have heard that On a quiet night, you can hear a ford rust. Ok, to be fair all vehicles can rust especially depending on the environment they are in. Fortunately, my 1996 Ford E-350 Club wagon Was always Kept in a dry Colorado environment most of it's life. the body and frame are in incredible shape except for a couple small rust spots on the body. The frame only has superficial surface rust. I am by no means a professional auto body guy. I spent a good portion of my life as an automotive technician. I am new to welding and extensive auto body repair. I currently don't have the skills or tools to form my own sheet metal so I go to the junkyard and cut out panels from vans like mine that don't have rust in the same spot. Not perfect but I am happy with how my repair turned out. Actually doing things is the best way I learn. I hope this video inspires you to take on a project. thanks for watching!
