Lecture presented on days 26 e 27/01/2018. ▲Ernst Götsch, swiss farmer and researcher, Ernst is an international reference in Successional Agroforestry Systems. After more than 40 years of experiences and accomplishments, he developed a set of principles and techniques that resulted in Syntropic Farming, a process that binds agricultural production and the recovery of degraded areas. The technique mimics the natural regeneration and the syntropic processes of life on Earth. His view of agriculture, that seeks to reconcile the human being and the environment, is the theme of documentaries and several articles. Currently, he lives in Brazil, where he keeps experimenting in a farm on the south of Bahia and gives courses about Syntropic Farming. The Intelligence of the Forest The Swiss researcher talks about his experience of creating plantations that understand the dynamics of nature.
