FLYBACK CONVERTER BASICS PT 1| FLYBACK TRANSFORMER, FLYBACK CONVERTER DESIGN BASICS, AC-DC CONVERTER

In this video, I go over the basics of the flyback converter, which is an AC-DC converter. The flyback topology is one of the safest and most reliable topologies for an AC-DC converter, which is why man electrical engineers use it in their designs. In my previous videos, I lay the groundwork for building an understanding of how the flyback converter works, and you can find the previous two videos below: Previous videos: Coupled Inductors:    • COUPLED INDUCTORS, FLYBACK TRANSFORMER BAS...   Electromagnetism:    • ELECTROMAGNETISM BASICS, INDUCTORS, MAGNET...   I go over basic characteristics of the flyback converter, and its different modes of operation. I think this is a good place to start when learning how to design your own flyback converter. Flyback converters are great projects for beginner-level electrical engineers - just be sure to consult with a professional before plugging your design into the wall!
