जिला शामली के गांव जसाला निवासी मोनू कश्यप की संदिग्ध मौत के मामले में मोनू कश्यप की माता और कैराना सांसद इकरा हसन सहारनपुर में डीआईजी से निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग करने पहुंचे। आरोप है कि इस दौरान सांसद इकरा हसन और पीड़ित परिवार के साथ प्रशासन द्वारा दुर्व्यवहार किया गया, जिसके विरोध में इकरा हसन ने थाने में धरना दिया। इसी मुद्दे को लेकर चलचित्र अभियान (CCA) की टीम ने शामली के गांव शिवनगर में कश्यप समाज के लोगों से बातचीत की। बातचीत के दौरान कई लोगों ने समाज के साथ कथित शोषण और प्रशासनिक रवैये को लेकर नाराज़गी जाहिर की। साथ ही, कैराना सांसद इकरा हसन के साथ हुए व्यवहार को लेकर भी कश्यप समाज में असंतोष देखने को मिला। CCA की ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट टीम - नकुल सिंह साहनी, मौ सावेज चौहान, इकरा अय्यूब सैफी, शाकिब यामीन रंगरेज In connection with the suspicious death of Monu Kashyap, a resident of Jasala village in Shamli district, his mother—accompanied by Kairana MP Iqra Hasan—visited the DIG in Saharanpur to demand an impartial investigation. It is alleged that during this visit, the administration mistreated both MP Iqra Hasan and the victim's family; in protest against this conduct, Iqra Hasan staged a sit-in demonstration at the police station. Regarding this issue, the team of ChalChitra Abhiyan (CCA) talked to the people of Kashyap community in Shivnagar village of Shamli. During these interactions, several individuals expressed their resentment regarding the alleged exploitation faced by their community and the attitude displayed by the administration.
