You're a Lonely Soul - Chuck and Blair (AU)

READ DESCRIPTION! Empty conversations filled with empty words. Hey guys, this is for TheHowlingWolf's IotS contest! It's an AU where we had to change the storyline. Please read the description to understand the video. Nate and Blair are getting married. Nate and Blair are both ecstatic, but everyone else (esp. Chuck) is sad because they know they don't belong together. Chuck and Blair have been together in the past, but things didn't work out. As Blair and Nate leave the reception, Chuck asks her not to go. But he can't tell Blair he loves her when she asks because Nate is standing right behind them. Blair just thinks he won't commit. Blair and Nate then go on to their wedding night, while Chuck pictures it with disgust. Vanessa is jealous of their relationship because she wants to be with Nate, and anonymously sends Blair proof that Nate is cheating on her. Blair doesnt believe it at first, but then he misses her birthday and the romantic dinner she planned for them to be with the other women. Blair realizes she loves Chuck, who has always been there for her, and they end up sleeping together. Chuck wants more out of the relationship however, and wants Blair to leave Nate if she truly loves him. But Blair doesn't want to give up on her marriage to Nate just yet and refuses, but doesn't want to give up Chuck either. Vanessa, who also wants Nate to leave Blair, tapes their conversation and gives it to Nate. Nate fights with Chuck and argues with Blair. Chuck feels responsible for Nate and Blair's fight, and not only buys the tape from Vanessa, but goes to apologize to Blair. She says that she is committed to her marriage to Nate and sends him away. Chuck is really depressed, jumps off a building, and dies. Blair is devastated, and soon afterwards Nate leaves Blair because he realizes she always loved Chuck more. Blair realizes her perfect life has crumbled down around her, but Serena convinces her to stay on the Upper East Side and rebuild her life. It's depressing, I know, but it's some of the best work I have done in a long time. I'm really very pleased with it, and I am SUPER RELIEVED to have finally finished it.
