Mooring going BAD

I sailed as a skipper 25000 NM on my own boat half around the world from Brazil to Fiji. As a mechanical engineer I gained wast experience on the very specific task on running and maintaining a sailing boat. As skipper you need a wide range of knowledge from wood to fibre glas to electric to electronics and mechanics. The skipper is responsible to look after around 100 different systems on a boat. From drains to toilets to kitchen to engines to water makers to generators and diving equipment. At the end the skipper has to navigate the boat and his crew safely across the seven seas. Anchoring and mooring are tasks often being done in confined spaces. I try to bring some issues of general interest to this channel. #catamaran #mooring #sailing #crew
