Autumn in Val d’Hérens, Valais | Lac Bleu Hike + Arolla Drive, Switzerland | 4K

Last week of October 2025 in Val d’Hérens, Valais, Switzerland. Started with a hike to the famous Lac Bleu from La Gouille car park. The sign says 40 minutes but realistically, it took closer to 2 hours one way with a steady uphill. Definitely not an easy walk, so better to be prepared. After the lake, a long take of the drive into Arolla, a quiet village at the end of the valley, then back down to Evolène the same way. We had never been here before, so wanted to drive in and see what it’s like.
