Woodwork for Inventor + ERP Monitor: Materials Integration

Many furniture manufacturers still struggle with CAD-to-ERP handover—especially when material codes and definitions don’t match across systems. In this video, we show how Woodwork for Inventor integrates with ERP Monitor to improve material consistency: Woodwork for Inventor can read material data from ERP Monitor’s materials database Designers can work with aligned material definitions used downstream Today, the import process is handled via generated Excel files that are then imported into the Monitor database Next step: work is underway to support direct BOM import into ERP Monitor, reducing intermediary steps and manual handling.
