While Paul is visting his alma mater to arrange for summer help on the farm, he takes Timmy and Lassie to visit with his old classmate who is now a doctor at the veterinary college. Timmy is interested when he finds the doctor is willing to pay pay 25¢ per rat for his experiments, so Timmy decides this is a wonderful way to earn money for his parents' anniversary present... until the breeding rats escape and take up residence in the Martin's cornfields. Lassie and the Lassie Trademark are owned by Classic Media, which is owned by Dreamworks Animation.This episode was broadcast (over the air antenna TV) by NBC affiliate COZI TV in 2013.
