Most Players Don’t Understand Itemization

Gameplay is from June 3rd on Patch 17.4c Rank: https://tactics.tools/player/na/kanto... In this coaching session with Kkantou, we focus on one of the most misunderstood concepts in TFT: itemization theory. A lot of players blindly follow BIS guides without understanding why certain items are correct, when flexibility matters more, and how itemization changes depending on tempo, lobby state, board strength, and carry setup. We begin with a discussion about current Patch 17.4 meta developments, including some Jinx and Miss Fortune reroll lines, before diving into the deeper theory behind TFT itemization. After that, we review several of my own high elo games to apply those concepts in real situations, and finish with a 4v4 TFT game from the student to tie everything together. This session focuses heavily on: flexible itemization understanding true BIS adapting items to game state and improving consistency through stronger fundamentals. 🧠 In this video, we cover: • Patch 17.4 meta discussion • Jinx and Miss Fortune reroll • TFT itemization theory • Why BIS can be misleading • Flexible itemization concepts • Tempo and econ discussion • Carry optimization • High elo vod reviews • Real game item decisions • 4v4 TFT analysis 🎯 This video will help you: • Understand what “true BIS” actually means • Improve your item flexibility • Stop forcing incorrect item combinations • Adapt better to different game states • Learn stronger carry optimization • Improve consistency in high elo TFT 🧠 Want Personalized Coaching?
