The Big European Match of the Day Special - Tom Walley's Home Grown Heroes - Watford FC

In the early 80's and within a period of 18 months several members of the Watford youth team went from winning the FA Youth Cup in spectacular style to representing the club on the European stage - joining other home grown talent when doing so. Some players ended up playing hundreds of first team games at Vicarage Road and others didn't - but all of them literally and figuratively took the Watford banner across the continent and that surely deserves to be remembered. We muster together the best footage that we are able - even if occasionally it involves Italian commentary (I'm pretty sure they think that Elton John scored the second in Sofia! - just listen).
