Completing our series of auto racing look backs, we focus on 2001 Detroit Grand Prix. It marked the final year for the CART Indy Car race on Belle Isle. The track would remain idle until 2007, which followed a racing reorganization. Sports Director Don Shane and reporter Mary Conway were part of the Detroit Grand Prix View special on WXYZ-TV.
