Ukrainian-born, Brooklyn–based Sabinin is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Detroit techno and electro, playing a wide spectrum of music inspired by the sound and its offshoots. After relocating to the United States from the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine, he quickly became an active force in Houston’s underground scene and held a five-year residency at The Flat under the mentorship of city icon DJ Sun. He has shared lineups with respected artists including DJ Stingray, Nastia, Efdemin, Aurora Halal, and Rødhåd, and others. In early 2024, he relocated to New York City to continue expanding his presence within the underground electronic music community.
