Chasing Winter Snow: Caravan Life in Lake Tekapo

After weeks of waiting and plenty of false alarms, the snow has finally delivered. We headed to Lake Tekapo to chase the winter conditions and were rewarded with a beautiful transformation of the landscape. From freezing -7°C nights in the caravan to epic snow tubing and relaxing in the hot pools, this has been an incredible start to our winter 2026 adventures.
